Essential employees and overseas graduates can now apply and submit applications to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada for open work permits.
Individuals who have filed for PR (Permanent Residency) using Canada’s newly expanded pathway may also apply for an open work permit as of July 26, 2021.
The IRCC created a pathway in May this year that will allow around 90,000 critical employees and international graduates in the country to get permanent residency.
