From 2021 to 2023, Canada plans to bring in over 400,000 immigrants from all over the world in hopes of boosting its income and increasing its aging population.
Last year, Canada revealed the 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan, with the goal of achieving the greatest level of immigration in the country’s history. Over the next three years, Canada will receive 401,000 immigrants in 2021, 411,000 immigrants in 2022, and 421,000 immigrants in 2023.
The Immigration Levels Plan for 2021-2023 aims to welcome approximately 60% of all immigrants through economic class programs such as Express Entry and the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
